A bit ago a friend of mine had a college class where she was supposed to not use any social media for a few weeks. at the end she declared, "I am a fish in my sea of social media". Although I admit to being overconnected there is an annoyance when out with people and there is a lull in the conversations, the phones come out and, usually, it is Facebook that is checked.
