Once in Vegas my friend Lizzy brought a 24 pack of Newcastle in case we wanted to drink in the room when we ran out of money. While taking the elevator up an old man said he couldn't remember the last time he had a Newcastle.
She gave him one.
Later she ran into him again and he thanked her because he had forgotten how good it was.

Toddlers and Tiaras

During my last off season at Knott's Berry Farm I had the opportunity to work a toddler beauty pageant.
It was one of the worst events I've ever worked.
I only helped with a bit of the in and out but seeing those people. Listening to the mother/ daughter interaction I seemed to be in a horror film.
Even today, many bad experiences later, I still point to that one as the worst.

I own a tv but don't really watch anything over the air.
Last week I hung out with a gal and we watched some tv.
Real tv, not netflix, hulu, on demand, or dvds, but stuff broadcast at that moment.
I had nearly forgotten about commercials.
I remember these ads but now I wonder if the Colonel had a comic book about his Jedi adventures.
