Way Too Late Music Video Fix

...I like Sublime's Date Rape
I feel this cover is better
...go ahead and hate me.

What this?

Ahh young impressionable drinking sung to a song from "Nightmare before Christmas".
What's not to love.

Metal Dreamin'

Been watching the various metal covers this guy does and I admire his ability.
This song is pretty cool until the remixed talk over stuff but still damned cool.

Way Too Late Cover Fix

In the summer of '01 I remember when this got big in Southern California.
Then I went back to New Mexico for school.
As Carmen and I traveled along I-10 it felt like this song followed us.
Each station claiming it was the first time it was played.

Take on Me

14/48 did a bit of Take on Me on the accordion.
Sounded great.
This is even better and from North Korea.

What a Drag

My friend Susan sent me this.
This is the best cover of "Stand by your man" this side of the Blues Brothers.
Pardon me whilst I say, "sing it girl"
Sing it girl!

Fear and Loathing on X Play

I dug X Play when I had cable.
Had this odd combination of humor and reviews.
Toward the end of my time with cable I watched for the humor more than reviews.

This was one of the ones that highlighted the humor.
I'd like more like this.
There is a Breakfast Club one that was pretty good.

Happy Centinnial New Mexico

To my adopted state on its 100th birthday.
Although I was only with you for a bit over 4 years I consider you more home than California ever was.

Reading Rainbow

Back in the 90s SNL did a skit that was a what if Jim Morrison started a band in Heaven called the Great Frog Society. It ended with a young blonde girl singing The End.
Classic.

Zelda

I remember being in first grade and Zelda being all the rage.
Perhaps not everywhere but I recall Ryan Quill getting that golden cart and it being far more interesting than anything before hand.
In college there was a weekend of playing Ocarina of Time in a near condemned trailer while drinking blue label vodka and store generic fruit punch.
After that I had strange arguments about Wind Waker back stage at the Charles M. Shulz Theatre.
It stuck with me.

And this was filmed miles from where I lived and where I once slide down a hill getting quite muddy while on a date.
Odd ties.

Fifty Ways to Love your Leaver

In its prime this song had a fair number of contemporary covers. Even one by the Jacksons.
