I've found a lot of random things online. This is a record of the things I've sent to people. Or posted.

Marie Antoninette
QI informed me I could buy milk cups that resembled Marie Antoniette's breasts.
I did give a moment's pause as I considering finding a pair. (Of course a pair what poor sucker would buy a solo Marie Antoniette boob cup?)
Yet also struck me as one awesome reclining chair and unfurnished apartment away from being that guy.
And if you don't know that guy some of your friends do... or you maybe him.

Champagne II
Ohh Mental Floss.
Why are you teaching me so much about Champagne?
Like why there seems to be so much in the US but not so much in the rest of the world.
Yep learning more about Champagne then I thought I might need to.

The United States never ratified the Treaty of Versailles—not because of the champagne clause, but because the Republican-controlled Congress didn’t want to see the formation of a League of Nations. And so, in America, it is perfectly legal to call your sparkling wine “champagne.” In fact, you can call your gym shoes champagne, if you’d like. (What better way to exercise your freedom of speech!)

Champagne
Interesting to read about why Champagne is used to christen ships.
But what get me is this
If ever you find yourself stuck christening a ship with a bottle that can take a beating, P&O (the British shipping and logistics company) chairman Sir John Parker, quoted in the same piece, suggests scoring the bottle with a glass cutter to to weaken it.
The more you know and what not.

Tech Support
I remember when the Quills got a NES.
Excitement raced through Mira Mar each of us hoping to have a crack at Ryan's new toy.
Even this odd ice cream social thing eventually moved to us playing Wizards and Warriors while the adults... honestly I have no idea what they did.
Like all NESes it started to have problems.
I don't recall knowing who I heard blowing on the cart from but it didn't always work.
When it did there was redemption for our effort.
...there was also a trick involving a quarter, turning it on and then putting the cart in, or an odd putting the whole thing upside down.
It was more rituals to make the thing, perhaps an odd bit of magical thinking in the early 90s but when it worked it was awesome.
Yet this skills occurs even now.
A bit ago I asked to check some lighting dimmer packs.
My instructions were: "Turn it off, remove it from the rack, blow on it like a Nintendo game, put it back in, then turn it on."

Mandala
During Tibetan Fest at Seattle Center I wandered over to the Armory for lunch.
I spent a few minutes watching a group of monks begin a mandala.
I meant to go back each day and see how it grew.
Unfortunately I didn't because of time, or scheduling or something else.
I missed out.
Dance
Been working a fair number of weddings lately.
Of all the songs picked for dances I wonder why this one hasn't been.
Missed opportunities.

Cats and Water
It's delightful to know my cat isn't the only one that attempts this feat.
But it's still quite annoying.
Come no kitty I don't want to share water with you.

Scissor Lift Ballet
Years ago my friend Geli was operating a scissor lift.
There was one set piece, a small angled piece about 2 feet high, sitting nearly against the backwall.
She hit.
Despite nothing on the stage but that one piece.
Good times.
Focus Tape
This was a big hit a few years ago.
I know a girl that was an electrics intern at the Santa Fe Opera the previous year.
When this video was mentioned she'd talk about how her years was better.
That year, 2008, they did Pirates vs Ninja which is funnier... if you're into that sort of thing.

Storage
In '99 I had a Gateway laptop with a "super drive" it was a drive that took disks the size of 3.5" floppies but they help several megs of data.
Truly amazing.
Or so it seemed... especially since my phone is faster and stores more than that computer would ever be able to.
With his wee beady eyes
There was a period where my siblings and I communicated by means of quotes from "So I Married an Ax Murder".
Someday that period may end.

Cal Worthington
I miss when it was Cal Worthington was right next to the Drive In.
Now it's near a K Mart.
Time moves on but I bet I could still get a cheap van conversion from him.
Bonding Time
Beside the sudden arrival of this song and dance on the nerd scene I just like thinking about this guy and his mom figuring out the choreography for this dance.
Good old Mother Son time.

Way Too Late Music Video Fix
Man Triplets of Belleville... love that film.
The Illusionist was great too but lacked some of the charm of Triplets but was much more touching...
...on a side note I would also like a velvet smoking jacket.

Airships
When gas first hit $4/gallon I remember hearing someone on Coast to Coast Am talking about an airship start up.
Steampunk hadn't quite hit the popular imagination and was still an odd sub genre of scifi, so there wasn't the buzz that would conquer the internet today if a company proposed such a thing.
Still the idea of taking an airship, instead of a cruise, seems quite interesting.
Don't think about the logistics just about the experience.

Wedding Cake
Saw this on I Heart Chaos.
In Washington we're having our fight for marriage equality.
Here's to hoping we can win this fight.

Nowadays this sort of thing would get you kicked out of the Grand Old Party.

Pete and Pete
Guess this means I'm not as into this show as I thought I was.
This is what I get for not joining forums or really be in 'the know'.
Just a sidelines observer, as it were.

Guess it's a sick day
My cat gives me this look all the time.

I find it odd kids with cell phones but then again I remember making calls from the one pay phone at high school... also guys with pagers.

Originality
Or maybe I could have talked about my childhood being raped but really people got to make money and taking an iconic film and making a sequel would work.
Still looks asinine
